Description
Table that can be opened with wings, called in Swedish ‘Slagboard’ (translated into the ‘battle table’).
This model was produced in the 1950s and is in painted pine wood.
Coming from Sweden, it is very used in northern Europe both to furnish the most sober and the most sought after environments.
A very solid dining table extendable on both sides, which can comfortably accommodate 6 people.
The reason for the diffusion in Scandinavia of this type of furniture is to be attributed to the great functionality and resistance: in fact this could also be inserted in small environments and could be opened if necessary.
The solid wood used in the construction guarantees resistance for another two hundred years and you can try your hand, as is used in the north, to paint the table in the shades you prefer.
Good conditions. A conservative restoration has been made. It may present signs of time. Pleasure pay attention to the photographs.
