Description
Antique GECoRay Wall Light by GEC F An early silver backed glass wall light by British manufacturer GEC entitled the GECoRAY. The gallery metalwork has been polished back revealing a lovely copper gallery and brass wall bracket, this is used to adjust the shade angle, enabling a wall or ceiling mounting. The glass shade left in untouched original condition, has a grey painted exterior finish and the interior is mirrored finish. These lights were scientifically designed for the illumination of shop windows after hours and formed part of a range of reflectors of superior quality. Dimensions: Height: cm Shade diameter : 23cm Origin: Church, Somerset, UK Circa: 1920s Workshop Report: Overall good, some mottling imperfections in places to the grey shade finish and foxing to the inside mirror finish, partial original decal. The Light has been rewired with CE Certified E27 (screw) bulb holder and 1m of twisted brown vintage style flex. As with all our products, This product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
