Description
19th Century Empire Mirror with Brass Elements A mirror in a wooden frame, dated to the first quarter of the 19th century. The wooden frame features rectangular panels at the top and bottom of the mirror, adorned with brass appliqus, and is crowned with a triangular pediment. The sides of the mirror are flanked by columns with gilded bases and capitals. The item has been restored and finished with a shellac polish, with the mirror surface displaying spots with traces of rust.
