Description
A cantilevered tray top/bottom side table from furniture maker Edmund Jrgensen. Made in Denmark during the 1950s. It features a round solid stained oak center-pole and the trays are executed in press-shaped oak veneer. Some say that the distinct shape of the pole intendedly resembles phallus. Measurements: H: 63/52 cm, Diameter: 33 cm (each tray). This piece shows wear and patina to a degree that makes it suitable for wabi-sabi interiors. It’s a honest piece showing its character and age.
