Description
A vintage, weighty and highly sculptural shallow dish made of solid pale blue glass with an applied red-orange spot to the top, decorated a corroso a textured surface created by packing the glass in acid-soaked wood shavings, creating an irregular and tactile pitted surface. It was made on the island of Murano, Italy, in the 1960s, most likely by the furnaces of Galliano Ferro.
