Description
This is the ‘Tongue’ chair by Danish designer, Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Jacobsen has designed a series of chairs of benched plywood. Butterfly, ant, mosquito and the tongue. This chair has been designed in 1955 a Danish school called ‘Munkegard school’ in Denmark. It has only been produced for a short time in the 1980s till 1985. There are not many of these chairs produced by Fritz Hansen. The color is in a very beautiful dark blue. The legs are chrome-plated.
