Publisher: Soshuya. Censored by Aratame. Poem and snowy hills at night (Signed Gengyo and seal). from the series “Mitate Sanjurokkasen” (A selection by analogy with the 36 poets). Taira no Munekiyo captures Tokiwa no Mae, who is fleeing to Kyoto with her children through the mountains of Yoshino. Excellent fresh color impression with nunomezuri (snow in inset image), bokashi, visible baren printing lines and wood grain (sky), backed, lower margin trimmed.
