Description
This clear glass piece was created in collaboration with Jon Lewis & Matthew Durran, bespoke glassmakers based in London. The design was inspired by the proportions of the steps of the Mackintosh stairwell inside the Reid building, a part of the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. As such, it’s a celebration of both Holl and Mackintosh, each of whom found original ways to work with the organic forms found in nature.
