High Back Antique Windsor Chair A beautiful nineteenth century high back Windsor chair. A Windsor chair is usually found to be made of a mixture of woods. Elm was favoured for the seat and beech for the legs with ash being used for other parts. It is a very decorative chair full of character and charm. Dimension per chair: Back Height: 110cm (seat height 44cm) Width: 49cm (widest) Depth: 52cm Origin: UK Circa: Victorian. Workshop Report: The chair is in good antique condition with minor historic marks, wear, imperfections, as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture, structurally sound. Mixed wood ash and elm. There is a historical repair to the backrest on the back right. Waxed and treated for woodworm. This product is an original antique item so there are signs of wear from use.
