Description
Very beautiful oil, cider or other jar, xXL format (~15-18 liters) old 19th century stoneware, French artisanal manufacturing in Puisaye, semi-glazed/enameled. Large pot-bellied body, small short neck framed by 2 large rounded handles. Light gray/terracotta stoneware, rest of the body enameled in shades of red, rust, light khaki, beige, gray, some traces of enamel. Approximately 35-38cm total height, max diameter 27-28cm. Very good state of conservation, however some defects and wear over time, notably some more or less visible scratches, small shocks and traces of friction on the body. Harmonious whole. 5-6kg approximately.
