Description
This is a very attractive set of 4 of antique George III Old Sheffield plate wine bottle coasters, circa 1820 in date. The set are of circular form with a beaded edge decorated with engraved bunches of grapes on turned wooden bases inset with a silver button engraved with a crest. The undersides of the coasters are lined with baize. Add an elegant touch to your next dining experience. Condition: In excellent condition. As antique items, the coasters show signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, they display beautifully. Dimensions in cm: Height 4.8 x Width 14.5 x Depth 14.5.
