Description
Rare, magnificent old pot or large bowl, 20th century, artisanal yellow sandstone, hand-turned, French manufacturing, traditional Puisaye sandstone. Brown enameled interior and upper part, light metallic luster, raw bottom and underside. Stamped with an upside down 5 under one of the edges. Round shape, relatively high, equipped with 2 handles, ears, horizontal groove under the handles, upturned edge. Brutalist, rustic, very decorative appearance. 18.5cm max diameter, 20cm max width with handles. 9.5cm maximum height. Very good general condition for its age, some traces of use and time however, small chips, wear of the varnish, relatively discreet and harmonious in the patina of the object, 1 small lack of varnish also in the bottom of the pot, I therefore do not recommend putting water in it. About 1kg.
