Beautiful set (2) of authentic rice bowls made of red lacquered wood (Urushi) with a floral theme applied in gold paint (Maki-e).
The decoration is hand-painted.
This set dates from the Taish period (1912-1926).
Beautiful as an interior decoration, nice warm red colour.
Dimensions: diameter 12 cm, height 9 cm.
