Description
A very nice Dutch design easy chair manufactured by Gispen in the Netherlands around 1930.
This is an early edition of the model 413 chair. The tubular chrome plated metal frame smoothly transitions to the armrests with bakelite finish. The seat has the original black leather upholstery, fitting the piece perfectly and combining its modern style with a nice sense of luxury.
The upholstery is completely original, it has some wear consistent with age and use. Its rare to find this chair in such original condition, so we made no changes to the upholstery. The photos represent it well.
Original manufacturers tag is still attached underneath the seat, as shown in photos.
