Description
The Virgin and the Child is a Woodcut print on cream-colored paper realized after Albrecht Durer, a reproduction of the early 20th Century from the original one in 1514. Monogrammed on the plate. Very good conditions. Albrecht Durer (1471-1528) was a German painter, engraver, mathematician and treatise. Among the greatest artists of the 16th century, he is considered the greatest exponent of German Renaissance painting. In Venice, the artist came into contact with Neoplatonic environments. It is assumed that such environments have raised its character towards esoteric aggregation.
