Unusual, very rare Worpsweder Art Nouveau armchair around 1900
Worpsweder armchair. Design Heinrich Vogeler (1872-1942). Solid oak, backrest with floral notch carving, seat with rush mesh
Firm in glue, no wood damage minimal signs of wear,
Very nice ancient original patina.
Rarely beautiful museum condition unrestored.
The original bird chair is in very good condition with only minimal signs of wear!
Original braid is stable Smaller old repairs see detailed pictures.
Very complex and finely carved.
