This is an antique tea caddy. An English, flame mahogany loose leaf tea container with glass mixer, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Graced with warm caramel hues beneath a wax polish finish
Dressed to the fascia with brass lock escutcheon in working order, key present
Pair of lidded canisters sit neatly within their recess, with a mixing glass to centre
Canisters in appealing original order, with clean, lightly aged linings
Generously sized mixing glass in original order with minor loss to rim
Decorative handles adorn each side as a visual accoutrement
