Description
Rare table or desk lamp designed by the BBPR architects’ studio and produced in the 1960s by Olivetti.
The lamp was made of black lacquered metal with a directional diffuser and extendable mechanism in chromed metal.
No breakages, but the lamp shows some signs of wear over time as shown in the photo.
BBPR was the acronym that indicated the group of Italian architects established in 1932 by Gian Luigi Banfi (1910 – 1945), Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (1909 – 2004), Enrico Peressutti (1908 – 1976), Ernesto Nathan Rogers (1909 – 1969).
