Description
Large subject in regula with green and brown patina, placed on a base made of three marbles*.
This sculpture represents a runner crossing the finish line. His slender body is in motion. with his head held high, he spreads his arms, announcing the end of his effort.
This aerial work seduces by the balance of the subject on the different pieces of marble, forming a harmonious contrast between the geometry of the base and the dynamic gesture of the man.
* Trets Ochre marble from Saint-Jean-de-Ruy (Bouches-du-Rhne); Grey marble from Saint-Lary (Arige); Black marble from Sabl (Sarthe)
