Description
An uncommonly large antique white opaline glass flycatcher shade with spritzdekor (spray-decorated) all around the outside, comprising bold and dynamic floral motifs against a soft orange background with a vermicular pattern. Probably German in origin, and dating to the 1920s or thereabouts.
Complete with stylised metal bosses that terminate the chain hooks, and three lengths of period chain.

Light wear consistent with age and use, Minor deterioration to the paint, as can be seen in the image, but this appears to be both stable and historic, and is almost entirely invisible when suspended. Otherwise, in excellent condition.
