Description
Beautiful set of ice bucket and ice tong in brass with a lid in solid teak wood. Iconic creation from Stelton Brassware.
This model of the ice bucket is not longer in production and has been replaced by a model with lid made of metal.
The Stelton Brassware line was only in production for a limited time in the mid-sixties due to the challenges of working with brass in the Stelton factory rather than the stainless steel it was set up for.
On top of that, the properties of brass which are very different from stainless steel has resulted in many cracked items, which means that the already limited production has been diminished even further.
The set is in great condition, with patina to the brass.
