Jrgen Birger Roland Fogelquist was born on June 7, 1927 in Mariestad in Skaraborg, died on February 27, 2005 in Skne. He was a Swedish artist. He grew up in Mariestad and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in 19451949, Acadmie Libre in Stockholm in 19501951 and the Academy of Fine Arts in 19511956. He is famous not only for his graphics, but also about fifty public decorations made of various materials. Through concrete art with alternating curves and rectilinear forms, Fogelquist moved towards abstract expressionism. His paintings are characterized by fast movements, surprising imagination and an intense play of colors. One of the most interesting of his monumental works is a mural in the machinery hall of the then Svenska Tobaks AB in Malm.
Van Gelder Papier was a paper manufacturer that dates back to 1685. The company was based in Wormer, the Netherlands. This type of handmade paper is famous – especially in France – de Hollande paper with the Van Gelder Zonen watermark.
