Faux Bamboo Mirror in Wood and Weathered Mirror Plate, France, Early 20th Century. This is a small faux-bamboo mirror in wood, made in France in the late 19th century or early 20th century. These came in various sizes and this is a smaller version – suitable for many interior situations. Wonderful frame in solid wood, carved to look like bamboo. The frame is nicely patinated and shows its age gracefully. The mirror plate itself is weathered very beautifully, making this mirror a desirable piece of interior art. The mirror comes in a highly original condition with a patina on both the frame and the mirror plate. Can be used both horizontally or vertically.
