“Egg-shaped Opaline Pocket Emptier, 19th Century, Gilt Bronze Mount” This egg is in blue opaline, which is rather rare, it is from the Napoleon III period. The plant decoration is in gilded bronze. It is lovely. As for the condition, note a crack on the lower part of the egg, small traces of wear due to use, slight oxidation on the frame.
