Description
“Child surprised by a wolf”: 19th-century lithograph after the work of painter Franois Grenier (Franois Grenier de Saint-Martin (Paris 1793-1867), engraved by Jazet Paris. The print is large, framed and under glass. The quality and depth of the engraving are impressive, and it is in very good condition. The gilding on the frame is slightly missing. The subject is original, the characters and animal expressive and rich in detail.
75cm by 65cm for the frame, 58cm by 46.5cm for the lithograph. 2cm thick.
