Unusual elongated canvas makes this an interesting addition to your Gallery Wall. Genuine French Mid Century Original Oil Painting on Canvas, in Original Gilt Frame. In very good condition. Very interesting dark, almost black background with crackle effect. Summer field flowers; cornflowers and daisies.
Dated on reverse canvas 1965. Signe by the artist lower left, buy indistinct. Pencil writing to rear frame; possibly from gallery exhibition. Altogether a very nice piece.
Found on a recent Brocante Shopping Trip in Northern France.
