Description
Beautiful, handblown glass ashtray/small bowl, with organic, free form design. The shape is triangular with rounded edges. The glass is clear, with hues of periwinkle blue/light grey blue, along with some white swirls, which have been incorporated into the design (see photos.)
Piece is in very good, original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure (see photos.) Some naturally occurring bubbles on the inside of the glass and edges (see photo with a 1 centime coin for perspective.) Some light, cloudy areas of previous use on the inside, and light marks of use on the bottom, which is to be expected for a piece of this age (see photos.)
Can be used as intended, as a small, decorative bowl, jewelry bowl, a paperweight, etc. An attractive piece that will be a wonderful gift for collectors of handblown glass.
