Description
Two Figures is an Original Pencil Drawing realized by Henri Epstein (1892-1944). Good condition on a yellowed paper, included a white cardboard (35×51 cm). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Henri Epstein born in Ldz ( Russian Empire ) on January 14 , 1891 where theJune 20 , 18922 , 3 and died in deportation to Auschwitz ( Third Reich ) in 1944, is a French painter of Russian origin, connected to the School of Paris . Henri Epstein is first noticed by the police commissioner and collector of paintings Lon Zamaron who sees in him the most gifted painter of his time . Harry Bellet mentions that the choices of Lon Zamaron then have a great influence on those of Jonas Netter who will in turn bring Henri Epstein into his collection.
