Adorable Kokeshi, Japanese craft dolls made in wood, entirely hand -painted.
Belonging to the Showa period (1926-1989) e
coming from the mountainous region of the Tohoku.
Initially the dolls Sosaku Kokeshi were simple toys for children but later they became real decorative and collectible objects by virtue of the paintings and poems reported on each of them.
