Description
1940s Luterma Large French Oak Bench (Model 1510). Luterma was one of the brands marketed by Estonian factory A.M. Luther which was founded in the late 19th Century in Tallinn. Luthers production was principally in Estonia but they also had factories in France for local market production. At the time of the Bauhaus movement Walter Gropius and Marcel Breuer worked with the factory to develop various models. These benches date from the 1930s, a simple classic shape with the most exceptional embossed and decorated seats. We service and rejuvenate each product before it leaves our workshop and we deliver vintage of excellent quality. Seat Height 49cm.
