We offer you this Lithograph Town Hall of Dreuilhe signed Madeleine DE LA GIRAUDIERE (1922-2018), Artist Proof
Work with original cardboard frame.
Mady de La Giraudire born in Toulouse on April 3, 1922 spent her childhood in the freedom of nature in LAVELANET in Arige.
Daughter of Emile COUQUET who for many years devoted his activity to the development of the Lavelanet textile industry. After secondary studies at Sainte Marie-des-champs in Toulouse, around the age of 19 having been unable to obtain paternal authorization to enter the School of Fine Arts, she then decided to devote herself to her passion for drawing and painting and works alone far from any influence with nature as her only master.
In most of Mady de LA GIRAUDIEREs paintings, we hear the cowbells, just as we smell thyme, lavender and bay leaf. And the sun, the good midday sun, almost never sets there Anatole JAKOVSKY
