Description
Magdalena Spasowicz is a Polish painter born in 1927. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under famous Jan Cybis.
Monochromatic landscapes are her favorite topic and they are influenced by Impressionist art, like the one of Pissarro and Utrillo. Magdalena Passowicz’s work is part of several collections like the National Museum in Wrocaw, Historical Museum in Warsaw, Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw, Polish Museum of Chicago, Vatican Museum but also private collections in the country and abroad. She does exhibitions in Warsaw, London, Berlin, Washington but also in Boston, New York, Chicago, Prague, Budapest and Vienna.
