Rare Italian Mid Century Modern newspaper stand and side table.
Designed by Cesare Lacca for Cassina in the 1960s. Made in Italy.
Beautiful, unusual design in original condition.
Frame is made of dark stained walnut. with two solid original glass panes, one as a shelf and one glass as table top.
One glass has a small chip on one corner. Doesn’t bother and you can’t see it from distance.
You can see it clearly in the last close-up photo.
100% original condition. Not renovated. All parts present.
No damage and not wobbly. Very few signs of wear.
The upper glass has got some fine, light scratches over the years.
You can only see it when you’re very close. Doesn’t bother at all.
Suitable for all living areas and very decorative.
