Description
This rare magazine holder from the 1920s is a perfect example of Dutch modernist design that became popular after the First World War. The modernists rebelled against the traditional ideas and forms of art and architecture, they disrupted and renewed in order to better reflect the modern industrialized society.
The magazine holder is made from oak, has black laquered details, and is in good condition considering its age and use. One of the wooden parts has a slight bending. It’s a rather heavy peace (about 7 kg).
