This amazing still life is a work of art. The painting is done in lovely pastel colors, it’s more subtle in person than it appears in photos. The oil painting is in very good overall condition. The only thing to notice is the crazing to the paint.
Incredibly warm palette and subject matter, perfect for a living room or dining room wall. Soothing composition with autumn harvest colors. Very good in excellent condition for age and type.
Born in 1896, Vicen Oliver Arasanz was predominantly inspired by the 1900s and 1910s. The first decades of the 20th century were characterized by dynamic advances in pictorial art. It was the era of post-impressionism and experimentation, including the first ventures into expressionism and abstraction. Many different groups of artists or loosely affiliated communities of the avant-garde in various major cities around the world developed many modes of these significant innovations.
