Picasso Exhibition Poster in Arles – 1957 is a vintage offset and lithographic poster for an art exhibition of works by the great Spanish artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). Limited edition of 1000 copies. Printed by Mourlot, Paris. In good conditions, except for minor folds on top left edge and in the center, which do not compromise the overall condition of this beautiful print. The exhibition was held at Muse Rattu (Arles), from July 6 until September 2, 1957. The works exhibited were drawings, watercolors and gouaches realized by the artist between 1898-1957. Muse Rattu (Reattu Museum) is a famous art museum specialized in contemporary art; it owns works by Jacques Rattu, drawings by Pablo Picasso, as well as a rich selection of photographs. During this period, he made original artworks and developed new imagery and formal syntax. He achieved universal fame and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments in 20th-century art.
