Description
Deep Purple are a set of 5 sophisticated crystal glasses and an ice bucket hand-crafted in Italy in the early 70s.
These unique glasses feature a distinctive, one-of-a-kind shape with a graceful air bubble in the heavy base. Made from Alexandrite glass, they exhibit a rare and fascinating color-changing effect, shifting hues from purple to light blue depending on the lighting conditions. This remarkable transformation is due to the presence of neodymium oxide in the glass composition.
Because of its complex production process and the rarity of neodymium, Alexandrite glass is highly collectible, making this set a truly luxurious addition to any cocktail collection.
The glasses are in excellent condition, with no chips, scratches, or cracks. The price includes five glasses and the matching ice bucket. The chromed metal and glass bucket retains its original “Kristal Made in Italy” label, adding even more value to this charming set.
