Vienna Augarten horse Spanish riding school ‘Trab’ The sitting rider conducts the horse by the reins. The trotting horse depicts a figurine which is called “Trab”. The model was created by Prof. Albin Dbrich, circa 1925-1926. White porcelain, painted or glossy finish the white oval base is decorated with golden painted rims, further there are the golden painted inscriptions “Trab-Spanische Reitschule” as well as “Hofburg Wien” legible Size: Height 9.84 inches (= 25.0 cm) width 9.055 inches (= 23.0 cm) Depth 3.54 inches (= 9.0 cm) Hallmarjed: Augarten Vienna Blue Beehive Mark with Crown, underglazed painter’s number: 82 additionally, red painted inscription is existing: AUGARTEN Wien AUSTRIA model number 1592 and engraved inscription ‘MADE IN AUSTRIA’ Manufactured in the middle of 20th century Condition: Very good.
