Description
Set of 4 white Artemide lamps model Eclisse. These lamps designed as bedside table lamps were designed in 1967 by Vico Magistretti. The lamp won the prestigious Compasso dOro design competition in 1967 and became one of the ambassadors of Italian design worldwide.
The Eclisse lamp is an avant-garde balance between form and function, design and practicality. The basis of the concept lies in the functionality of adjusting the light intensity by means of the rotating inner shade that darkens the light source. with a fixed outer shell and a movable inner shell, the lamp can provide direct or diffused light. Eclisse is part of the permanent collection of the most important design museums, including the MoMa in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
The lamps are in good condition with some unobtrusive signs of use according to their age (see photos). They have no defects. All you have to do is screw in a light bulb (E14) and enjoy.
Estimated period: These lamps were produced before 2010 after the original design from the sixties.
