Ceramic sculpture made in Amsterdam.
This piece is hand-built using stoneware clay and hand-painted. It is made to resemble coral texture and water movement. The contrast between the coarse coral-like texture outside and the smooth glossy glaze inside excites the eye but it also represents coral reefs impacted by the climate change.
